NEW YORK, THE CITY WHICH NEVER SLEEPS


New York is the city which has most of the American population. It is an important centre for international diplomacy and has been described as the cultural and financial capital of the world and more than eight millions of people live there.

The climate is characterized by cold winters and hot summers. New York is organised by districts which are Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. 



WHY NEW YORK?

We would recommend going to this city because has lots of beautiful places to visit, lots of cultural elements and it is very famous.

It’s, definitely, a different an unusual place. People there are very nice.



VISITING THE CITY

New York is very attractive for those who like big cities, travelling and it is famous for its typical places and museums.



FIFTH AVENUE:

Is one of the most important commercial roads in New York and it is known by everybody.








EMPIRE STATE:

The Empire State was considered as the tallest building between 1931 and 1972. Nowadays, after the fall of the twin towers, is the tallest building of New York.








TIMES SQUARE:

This place was named “times square” because the offices of the newspaper “New York Times” were there.









CENTRAL PARK:

The central park is biggest urban park in New York and everybody who visits the city goes there.









STATUE OF LIBERTY:

The Statue of liberty is the most famous symbol of the city that never sleeps. His motto is: “LIBERTY ENLIGHTENS THE WORLD”.









OTHER PLACES:

Chrysler building, Rockefeller Centre, Brooklyn Bridge…
