STUTTGART






Stuttgart is the capital of the German Land of Baden - Württemberg, at the door of the Black Forest . It has a population of approximately 598,000 inhabitants and an area of ​​207 km² . It is surrounded by hills, forests and vineyards are fins reach the middle ring . The port is located northeast of the city, on the banks of the River Neckar.

Ritter -sport is a well known chocolate company that offers a tour of his factory where you can see from history to the making of chocolate . It is a very interesting tour that ends at the official store of the brand Ritter -sport where you can buy a lot of varied chocolates at a great price.

The Mercedes-Benz Museum is an automobile museum. It covers the history of the Mercedes-Benz brand and the brands associated with it. Stuttgart is home to the Mercedes-Benz brand and the international headquarters of Daimler AG.

This is a good place for lovers of speed and luxury cars . A place where the history of the Mercedes- Benz gets life




Fernsehturm

Stuttgart Fernsehturm ( TV Tower Stuttgart ) is the first television tower in the world built of concrete, and since then the prototype for the rest of towers of this kind that have subsequently built on the planet.

TV tower can be visited and you can climb all the way up from where spectacular views across the city.




Wilhelma

Stuttgart is the only city in Germany where the zoo and botanical gardens are found together in the same enclosure, which is also a historical place, it was built in 1842-1853.
The "Wilhelma" is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful zoos and botanical gardens in Europe. It has more than 9,000 animals belonging to over 1,000 different species.

LONDON


London is the capital and most populus city of England and the United Kingdom. It is next to New York, the principal financial center of the world and there are 43 universities in the city that form the largest concentration of higher education centers across Europe. 















London Eye


It is an amazing city with lots of sightseeing and interesting places to visit. One of the most popular sites to visite is the known London Eye. It is an observation wheel of 135 m located in the London Borough of Lambeth, between Westminster and Hungerford Bridges.From the top you can see a beautiful panorama of London.





















Hyde Park


Hyde Park is one of the largest parks in London and is divided in two by the Serpentine Lake. Has been the scene of many rock concerts of bands like The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd. It is completely common to see squirrels hanging around the park. Here is the bronze statue of Peter Pan, since in the story of Peter Pan, Peter flies from his nursery and lands on the water of Long Lake, in the place where the statue stands now.















Westminster Palace


It is one of the landmarks of London. It is the heritage of humanity, are the two chambers of the English parliament, with its tower and the famous clock, Big Ben, and is situated on the banks of the River Thames. If someday you visit London, you can not leave without seeing this wonderful palace.


 Buckingham palace.


The Buckingham palace is the official residence of the British monarch in Londres. It is also used for official ceremonies , state visits and sightseeing. It is famous for hosting the Royal Collection, extraordinary set of real fruit collecting artistic works. The palace is a meeting point for the British in times of crisis and celebration .

The British Museum

The British Museum is a museum dedicated to human history and culture, located in the Bloomsbury area of London. Its permanent collection, numbering some 8 million works, is among the largest and most comprehensive in existence and originates from all continents, illustrating and documenting the story of human culture from its beginnings to the present.

Tower bridge 

Tower bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, England which crosses the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, from which it takes its name, and has become an iconic symbol of London.

Camdemtown

Camdemtown  is an inner city district of London, 2.4 miles (3.9 km) north-northwest of charing Cross. It is one of the 35 major centres identified in the London plan.

Piccadilly Circus 

Piccadilly Circus is a road junction and public sapce of London's West End in the City of Westminister, built in 1819 to connect Regent Street with Piccadilly. In this context, a circus, from the Latin word meaning "circle", is a round open space at a street junction.

VIENNA

If you ask someone who live in Vienna, which is their favourite park, we are sure they will say Stadtpark. This park was founded in 1862 so it is one of the oldest parks in this capital. The park has an extension of 65.000 m2 and it includes a big quantity of vegetal species. 




Vienna is the capital of Austria and, at the time,  its cultural, politic and economic centre. This city is situated on the northeast of the country and it has one of the most cultural potential in Europe.  UNESCO declared the “historic centre of Vienna” as a World Heritage Site because this represents many important values.


Stadtpark
One of the most important places (and more photographed too) in the park is the Johann Strauss’s monument. It consists on a golden statue opened in 1867. This statue try to pay tribute to one of the most important violinists around the world.
In addition, Stadtpark is situated in a privileged place, in the centre of Vienna near other important sites like Vienna’s Opera. Therefore, it results very nice and comfortable to lose you in the vastness of its greenness.

     
Ringstrasse
Ringstrasse is a circular avenue that circle Vienna’s centre. This avenue takes in many of the most significant architectural constructions in the city. In consideration, it is a street very attractive and pleasant to walk, and to visit the historic works in the capital.

This avenue appeared since the wall that was in the same place that Ringstrasse nowadays was knocked down, in order to grow up the city. Currently in Ringstrasse, there are many famous buildings: Real Hofburg Palace, City Council, Stock Exchange, Parliament, Burgtheater, Votive Church, University, Art’s History’s Museum and Natural History’s Museum.
But there are some things in Vienna we would like to show you too.


Strauss memories


The next one is not a tangible thing, but famous around the world. We are talking about the unmistakable New year’s concert by the classical Wiener Philharmoniker that takes place in this city every year on the 1rst of Genuary in the Musikverein. It has to be a great experience to be in the Golden Hall while the music of Johan Strauss and its contemporaries fullfill the air, isn’t it?




But not only this event make Vienna sound different. Lots of pretty good musicians inhabit the streets of this magical city, making it one the most beautiful places to go to, in every sense. What a pleasure for your ears!


Thinking different, travelling different

But if your desire is to travel while helping, there are plenty of volunteering programs that surely will satisfy your expectations. In addition, Vienna is one of the cities included in the WOSM (world organization of the scout movement) lists, so there are lots of scout groups improving their city, with many actions you can join too if you want.
